Understand RENAG's Optional Loss Damage Waiver
RENAG's optional Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is designed to help reduce financial liability in certain theft or total-loss situations when the rental conditions are properly followed.
Liability reduced to a fixed excess
When LDW is active, liability for the vehicle frame is limited to a fixed excess fee instead of the full replacement cost.
Important exclusions still apply
The waiver does not cover batteries, accessories, reckless damage, water damage, tyres, chargers, locks, helmets, or lost items.
Why it matters
Understand what the waiver covers and what it doesn't.
The waiver only applies if the renter follows all reporting requirements and rental conditions. Certain items and situations remain fully payable by the customer.
